Josef Koreň

Josef Koreň (born 1912, died 1971) - Slovak medallist and sculptor associated with the Kremnica Mint, where he worked from 1946. Between 1946 and 1961, he designed foreign coins in collaboration with Andrej Peter. Together with Andrej Peter and Anton Hám, he designed the first Polish coins in circulation after the Second World War.
